Currently working on material for her second release, Allison Preisinger writes and performs folk rock music that has been compared to Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and Jose Gonzalez. Allison grew up in the Pacific Northwest and is now back in her home state of Washington after finishing a degree at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Join her mailing list for updates on her upcoming EP, performances and workshops!
As per usual in regards to these types of projects, Allison's second album project is over budget. In order to pay engineers what they deserve and create the best looking product about $600 more is needed in addition to what was raised through Kickstarter. Allison is doing her best to raise it on her own through her three jobs, but if you missed your chance to donate during the Kickstarter Campaign feel free to donate using paypal. Include a note with your email and she will be sure to get you a copy of the album when it's finished if you donate $10 or more! Thank you! |

Happy New Year!
Hope everyone had a great New Year!
If you are on my mailing list you might notice that I have changed services to send the emails. Switched from Reverbnation to Mail Chiimp in an effort to simplify my life to leave more time for practice and writing, less time for trying to figure out what I should do with yet another music website. Hope I'm not shooting myself in the foot, but I think it'll be okay. The album is still in the final track recording/mixing phase. I'll be updating as soon as there's something interesting to update with. Like, a single maybe? Thanks for the support! -Allison Happy Holidays!
Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season! The album is in the mixing, final track recording stages with hopes to get the majority of all that finished by the end of January. I am also making plans for future performances and planning my next move to somewhere is Cali next year!
Happy New Year! Progress!
I had such a fantastic time in the studio last weekend! We got a ton done and are now in the editing/mixing phase with still a few more takes of some things to finish up. Thank you endlessly to Vanessa Collier, Phillip Liddiard, Spyros Magliveras, Jenna Rycroft and Jessica Kion for giving me over a week of your time for rehearsing and recording. You all are amazing and made this experience much more than I ever expected!
I will be posting some photos under my "2nd Album" tab (currently under construction) from our recording weekend as well as some video once I can compile something good. Some updates soon for my Kickstarter supporters as well! I'm excited to share what we've been working on! In the Studio!
It's 11/11/11 and I'm in the studio!
We are getting all set up at The Record Co. in Boston. Engineers are here, I'm here, waiting on the band to get here. Tis good stuff! Can't wait to get playing - need to wake up first though! -Allison Recording in Boston!
Thanks to all of you who pledged and shared my Kickstarter project, it was a success! Thank you!!
I'm currently in Boston rehearsing all week with my band in preparation of recording this weekend! We have another rehearsal soon and are working on some arrangements and harmonies. I'm excited to get in the studio! I'll post some photos from our rehearsals and updates when I can! |
